Christina Aguilera has reinvented one of her most iconic looks with a bold new twist. During a 2025 performance in São Paulo, Brazil, the pop star paid homage to the country’s flag by swapping her signature black-and-blonde hair for a vibrant burst of neon color.
The transformation was a modern update on her memorable Stripped-era style from 2002, when Aguilera left behind her Disney image and introduced a more daring, expressive version of herself. Back then, her platinum blonde hair featured dramatic black streaks. This time, she chose bright canary yellow, lime green, and turquoise highlights, blending them into her pale blonde base.
Styled by Igor Rosales, the colorful makeover was subtle from the front, appearing almost entirely blonde. But from the back, it revealed a vivid surprise. The turquoise began at her crown and mixed with the blonde, while the green and yellow shades colored the lower layers.
Makeup artist Hector Espinal completed the bold look with shimmering face gems placed around Aguilera’s eyes. A small cluster at the outer corners and a neat row along her crease added sparkle. He paired the eye-catching detail with a cool gray-mauve lip, bringing a futuristic edge to her stage presence.
Aguilera’s latest look is a colorful celebration of her evolution—and a nod to her fearless style.
