Moad, a young barber from Lanzarote, recently showed solidarity with a homeless man in Arrecife by giving him a free haircut. In a TikTok video, Moad is seen cutting José’s hair and trimming his beard right on the street. José, who lives on the streets, praised the barber, saying, “I recommend getting your hair cut at his barbershop. He did me a great favor. He is humble and helped me a lot.”
The video sparked mixed reactions online. Many praised Moad for his kindness, but others criticized the gesture, arguing that the man needed food or clothes more than a haircut. In response, Moad invited critics to join him and see the additional help he gave behind the scenes. He also encouraged people to visit his barbershop and contribute to supporting the homeless man.
This is not the first time Moad has helped homeless people on the island. In 2023, he shared another video showing a similar act of kindness toward another person in need.
