May 19, 2025 – New York, NY — Megan Thee Stallion made a bold entrance at the 2025 Met Gala, stunning onlookers with a dramatic sculptural ponytail inspired by legendary performer Josephine Baker. The look, created by her longtime hairstylist Kellon Deryck, was a standout on the red carpet.
“Strong and powerful, this hair is going to be the talk of the event,” said Deryck of the intricate updo, which fused a classic beehive with a ponytail. Her auburn hair was slicked back into three rounded, stacked buns that formed a halo shape when viewed from the front. From the side, the buns tapered in size, leading into a long, flowing ponytail.
Adding to the glamour, a line of diamonds traced from Megan’s hairline to the base of the ponytail, while delicate kiss curls framed her face. The pulled-back style highlighted her makeup, created by artist Diana Shin using Charlotte Tilbury products. The look featured the Airbrush Flawless Foundation and the brand’s new Big Lip Plumpgasam gloss in Nudegasam Diamonds.
Megan completed her look with a custom Michael Kors ensemble, including a white and silver lace gown, matching heels, and a white fur coat. Her entire appearance, from hairstyle to outfit, embraced the theme of the evening with elegance and flair.
