A man traveled two and a half hours from Texas to get a haircut from Richmond Barber, known for his dramatic transformations on TikTok.
The client shared that his wife had been telling him his hair was thinning, but he hadn’t noticed the bald spots himself. He admitted he hadn’t cut his hair since January and usually preferred short styles like a faux hawk but let it grow out during COVID.
Inspired by the barber’s recent viral cuts, he decided to book an appointment after seeing a trim he liked. After a brief chat, Richmond Barber got to work.
The final look featured a neatly shaved head with curls left on top, replacing the previous style that made the man “look bald.” The client was pleased, saying, “Your hands I trust… Nice dude, I’ve never had this type of cut before so it looks good. I like it, my son’s gonna like it.”
The TikTok video earned nearly 59,000 likes and hundreds of comments. Fans praised the cut, with one saying, “Bro’s out here saving marriages more than a counselor.” Another added, “His wife is going to fall in love with him again.”
