Gracie McGraw, the eldest daughter of country stars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, has debuted a dramatic new look that has fans doing a double take — and pointing out her striking resemblance to her famous father.
The 28-year-old recently ditched her signature red hair for a much darker shade, revealing the transformation in a playful video posted to Instagram. In the clip, Gracie is first seen with her red locks before a cape is thrown over her face. When it’s removed, she shows off her new glossy dark hair, styled sleek and smooth.
Fans were quick to praise the change. “You look so much like your dad,” one follower wrote. Another added, “Never realized how much you look like your dad.” Others called her “beautiful,” “gorgeous,” and said the new style was “perfection.”
The transformation comes just after Gracie celebrated her 28th birthday on May 5. Her dad, Tim McGraw, marked the occasion with a heartfelt post on social media, sharing a black-and-white photo of young Gracie sitting on his shoulders.
“Can’t believe this little bit turns 28 today!” he wrote. “You are a light in this world, my sweet girl. So much heart, soul, respect and yes, LOADS of talent!!! We hope you have the best day ever and know that you are loved beyond measure. I love you, my little girl – Dad.”
Gracie responded with a simple but emotional reply: “Love you,” adding several heart emojis.
The McGraw-Hill family is known for their close bond and talent. Gracie is a Broadway performer based in New York City. Her younger sister, Maggie, 26, serves on the Board of Directors for Alive, the nonprofit hospice that cared for their grandfather Tug McGraw. Audrey, the youngest at 23, is a model and artist also living in New York. She is currently dating The Lincoln Lawyer actor Manuel Garcia-Rulfo.
Tim McGraw has spoken often about his pride in raising three independent, grounded daughters. In a 2021 interview with People, he said, “We’ve raised three strong, independent, strong-minded young women. What I’m most grateful for is just how normal our kids are and how much they respect themselves and other people.”
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight in 2023, he added, “They just inspire us in so many ways. I’d love to do a song with all five of us at some point. I talk about it all the time, and they’re like, ‘I ain’t singing with you, Dad.’”
Tim and Faith met in 1994 in Nashville and began dating two years later. After a whirlwind romance, they married on October 6, 1996, in a backyard ceremony at Tim’s aunt’s home.
