Julia Fox Channels Botticelli with Bold Nude Look at Oscars After Party

by lily

Julia Fox continues to push boundaries by turning nudity into high fashion. Known for her daring style, Fox once again made a striking statement at the Vanity Fair Oscar After Party.

Her look drew clear inspiration from Botticelli’s famous 15th-century painting The Birth of Venus. The artwork shows the goddess Venus standing naked on a giant shell, her long blonde hair flowing to cover key parts of her body. Fox’s outfit echoed this iconic image but with a modern twist.

She wore a nearly sheer, beige dress by Dilara Findikoglu. The mesh fabric revealed much of her body, while her very long brown hair—unlike Venus’s flowing blonde locks—was tucked into the dress. This styling choice offered a hint of modesty. Like the painting, Fox’s breasts were exposed, though she often used her hands to cover them in photos.

Fox’s makeup and nails marked a clear departure from the Renaissance look. She chose soft peachy-nude lipstick, blush, and eyeshadow, paired with fluttery lashes and bleached brows. Her long, squared French manicure added a contemporary edge to the ensemble.

While the modern touches differ from Botticelli’s vision, Fox’s bold outfit and styling paid homage to the classic work in a unique and memorable way.
