Nicole Kidman made a surprise appearance at the final U.S. stop of Charli XCX’s Brat tour on May 1, embracing the concert’s signature style with a polished yet playful look.
Attending the Brooklyn show at Barclays Center, the Oscar-winning actress wore a sleek black tank top, black Levi’s jeans, sunglasses, and a high ponytail—perfectly in tune with the Brat aesthetic. Her straightened hair was pulled tight and high at the crown, with a soft touch added by two loose strands framing her face and a gentle curl at the ends of the ponytail.
Kidman’s hairstyle seemed to reflect the more introspective side of Charli’s Brat album, with subtle elegance hinting at tracks like “Everything is Romantic” and “I Think About It All the Time.”
Sharing a photo of her concert look on Instagram Stories, Kidman wrote, “Great night NYC,” tagging Charli XCX and including a green apple emoji—an iconic Brat symbol.
While Kidman didn’t post any concert clips, fans imagined her ponytail swinging in the VIP section. Under her sunglasses, some even hoped she was sporting a smudged, smoky eye to match the vibe.
Both Kidman and Charli XCX naturally have curly hair. While Kidman often wears hers straight, Charli recently told Allure that she has started embracing her curls. “It took me a really long time to actually embrace my curls,” Charli said. “In the last few years, I’ve kind of just grown into it.”
