The Tracee Ellis Ross ponytail saga continues to captivate, with her latest look proving just as attention-grabbing as the first. On April 9, the actress was spotted in New York City, promoting the latest season of Black Mirror on Netflix. Just days earlier, Ross had sported an extra-long ponytail, but her most recent hairstyle was a shorter, sharper take that immediately had fans reaching for their phones.
As with her earlier updo, Ross pulled her hair to the crown of her head and slicked it back to keep her curls neatly in place. However, unlike the previous version, which cascaded past her hips, this new ponytail stopped at the nape of her neck with a blunt, clean cut. With only a simple elastic holding the style in place, no other accessories were needed, allowing the bold ponytail to take center stage.
Ross’s long-time stylist, Chuck Amos, who also works with stars like Nia Long and Vanessa Williams, crafted the edgy blunt ponytail for her final day in the city. She paired the hairstyle with a white skirt, a Sienna overcoat, a Bottega Arco tote, and the same v-cut pumps she wore earlier in her trip.
