Zendaya has revealed a striking new hairstyle as part of her latest collaboration with Swiss athletic brand On. Known for taking bold style risks, the Dune actress stepped into a futuristic role, sporting a retro-inspired pixie cut with spiky bangs and soft, face-framing layers.
The dramatic transformation is featured in a short campaign film titled Zone Dreamers. The project imagines Zendaya in outer space and was created in collaboration with her longtime stylist Law Roach and visual artist Nadia Lee Cohen.
“Zone Dreamers was such a joy to create,” Zendaya said in a statement. “I’ve loved working with On to bring something so creative and unexpected to life. Teaming up with Nadia for the first time brought such a unique energy to the set, and collaborating with Law—as always—made the experience even more special.”
Zendaya explained that the campaign explores themes of courage, friendship, and the freedom to step outside one’s comfort zone.
The actress’s fictional trip into space aligns with a growing fascination among celebrities with space travel. On Monday, pop star Katy Perry and journalist Gayle King took part in a historic voyage as members of the first all-female space crew. The trip lasted around 11 minutes and concluded with Perry performing “What a Wonderful World.”
When asked why she chose not to sing one of her own songs, Perry said, “It’s not about singing my songs. It’s about a collective energy and making space for future women. It’s about this wonderful world that we see right out there and appreciating it. This is all for the benefit of Earth.”
